The Color Purple
I think it pisses God off when you walk by the color purple in a field and don't notice it.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

The Color Purple follows the life of Celie Johnson as she struggles through life in the early 1900s. The film begins with Celie about 17 years old, giving birth to her second child, sired by her father. Her father takes the second child away from her and tells her never to tell anyone about it. Time passes and a local farmer, "Mister", comes by to marry Celie's younger, prettier sister, Nettie. Her father refuses to let Nettie marry and gives the man Celie instead. Mister neglects and abuses Celie until Nettie comes by asking to stay with them, because the father can't keep his hands off her. When Mister is unable to lure Nettie, he sends her away, leaving Celie more distraught than ever. Nettie promises to write unless death keeps her from it, but Celie never receives a letter. Meanwhile, Mister's lover, Shug Avery, comes to visit and befriends Celie, helping her to understand that she is more than Mister's servant. The movie culminates in Celie leaving Mister with the threat that everything he touches will fall apart until he does right by her. Mister finds compassion and goes to the INS to help Celie's sister Nettie prove that she is a US citizen and return from Africa where she has been living with Celie's two children who had been given to a missionary and his wife. Celie is reunited with Nettie and her two children in a heartfelt ending to an extraordinary film.
Mulle meeldis film väga. Steven Spielbergi film, mida ma muide ei teadnudki. Räägin siiani, õigemini mõtlen nende mustanahaliste Lõuna-Usa aktsendiga. I's married now.
Kõige rohkem meeldis mulle Mrs. Cecile Blues.

Lilo and Stitch, esimene osa, daaa
Vaatasime perega Lilo and Stitchi.
Meie Kev:)
This is my family. I found it, all on my own. Is little, and broken, but still good. Yeah, still good.
***
Ohana means family, family means nobody gets left behind. Or forgotten.
***
Our family's little now, and we don't have many toys... But if you want, you could be a part of it. You could be our baby, and we'd raise you to be good.
***
This is your badness level. It's unusually high for someone your size. We have to fix that.
OHANA.

''Dead Poets Society'' ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Hands down- kahtlemata kõige parem film, mida ma kunagi näinud olen.
Istusin eile õhtul, masetsesin ja otsustasin vaadata midagi inspireerivat.Googeldasin: ''Inspiring movies'' ja uurisin neid top 20.. Silma jäi Dead Poets Society, ütlen ausalt, Robert Sean Leonardi pärast. Ta on alati mu mister underrated olnud.Alates filmi esimesest minutist teadsin ma, et SEE on üks hea film. Palju ma naeratasin:) Ja mitu mitu korda mõtlesin, et seda filmi peab Jamsale soovitama.. Tema AHH reaktsioonid oleksid KAHTLEMATA tihti olnud.
FILM..
Ameerika konservatiivsesse kooli tuli uus kirjanduse õpetaja, Mr Keating, kes inspireerib oma õpilasi tegema seda, mida nad tahavad, kasutama iga päeva, nautima elu, olema need, kes nad tõesti on! JA ooo, kuidas ta seda teeb:)
Mulle meeldisid niiiii paljud stseenid. Kogu film- lihtsalt.. oo.
No matter what anybody tells you, words and ideas can change the world.

We don't read and write poetry because it's cute. We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race. And the human race is filled with passion. And medicine, law, business, engineering, these are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life. But poetry, beauty, romance, love, these are what we stay alive for. To quote from Whitman, "O me! O life!... of the questions of these recurring; of the endless trains of the faithless... of cities filled with the foolish; what good amid these, O me, O life?" Answer. That you are here - that life exists, and identity; that the powerful play goes on and you may contribute a verse. That the powerful play *goes on* and you may contribute a verse. What will your verse be?

Sucking the marrow out of life doesn't mean choking on the bone.

There's a time for daring and there's a time for caution, and a wise man understands which is called for.
***
"But only in their dreams can men be truly free. 'Twas always thus, and always thus will be."
***
Boys, you must strive to find your own voice. Because the longer you wait to begin, the less likely you are to find it at all. Thoreau said, "Most men lead lives of quiet desperation." Don't be resigned to that. Break out!
***
Now we all have a great need for acceptance, but you must trust that your beliefs are unique, your own, even though others may think them odd or unpopular, even though the herd may go: "that's baaaaad." Robert Frost said, "Two roads diverged in the wood and I, I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference."

This is a battle, a war, and the casualties could be your hearts and souls.

Ja muidugi naljad, ha.
Yeah... Uh, I might be going to Yale... Uh, but I might not.
Mu lemmikstseenid.. pluss veel rooftop stseen, milles ma armastaan Nieli siirat '' Is today your birthday?''

There's a baby polar bear on the ice cap with his parents. He goes up to his mother and asks,
'' Am I trueblooded polar bear?''
''Why, certainly,'' his mother tells him.
''Absolutely pure polar bear?''
''Yes.''
''Not partly grizzly bear?''
His mother's getting a bit short on patience by now, '' You are a pure, 24 carat polar bear. If you don't belice me, ask your father.''
Baby bear trots across the ice to his father who's sitting by an ice hole eating a seal.
''Daddy,'' says the bear cub, '' am I a pure polar bear?''
''No doubt about it,'' Father Polar Bear replied through a mouthful of seal blubber. ''You are a dyed-in-the-wool polar bear from arse to ears.''
''I´m not part panda bear? Or brown bear?'' questions baby bear.
''Out of the question, '' his father tells him.
'' You are absolutely, one hundred and ten per cent, to the very core, a polar bear. So why do you ask?''
'' I wondered because,'' says the baby bear, '' I'm fucking freezing!''

Tore on tõesti tervitust iseendale kirjutada.
<3
Armastan siiski!
